Great article.

Who votes for the WS MVP (or CS MVP... or DS MVP...)??? The fans? ("The fans got this one right.") The team? MLB?

They shouldn't bring back the Caveman either. Time to move on, time to get younger; time for Johnny Damon to wind down for Cincinnati or the ChiSox.

Yeah, Matsui was the right choice.

It's really too bad the Yankees don't have room for the guy on the 2010 roster considering all he's done throughout his career and especially how he played last night. But the fact that he can't play the field anymore pretty much seals his fate. When thinking about the 2010 contracts, the front office needs to consider 2010 performance and beyond, not what Matsui did in 2009. I'd love to see them bring him back on a small deal to be a part time DH/PH a la Ruben Sierra and Chili Davis, but I still don't think they'll have a roster spot for him. At least he went out on top though...
