Everyone thought he was going to be a platoon guy, at best. I never really found him to be an overblown prospect, as people were fairly realistic in their expectations.</description>

		<description>As a Yankee fan who watched a good portion of Duncan&#039;s AB&#039;s, I&#039;m pretty sure that Shelley&#039;s big problem was that he couldn&#039;t hit breaking stuff.  He didn&#039;t have a problem coming up when guys were trying to blow fastballs past the rook, but teams quickly caught on to the fact that he couldn&#039;t touch a curve, slider, or change.  

That was my impression, anyways.  I would be curious to see if anybody has any data to confirm/deny that.</description>
