Man, I wish I lived in Pittsburgh. I’m already working as a quantitative analyst, just not in the baseball ops field. Maybe they’d let me telecommute…?

Simple, move to Pittsburgh, America’s Most Livable City and featured as one of the 25 must see places in the world by Nat Geo last month. ;-)

I think Pittsburgh is nice and all, but I’d hardly rate it in the 25 “must see” places in the world. I would very much believe it’s in the top 10 of livable US cities, but given the choice between seeing the Pyramids, Machu Picchu, New York, Tokyo, the beaches of Tahiti, the Masai Mara, (etc etc etc), I’m pretty sure I would run out of other places in the world before I hit Pittsbugh on a list of 25…

yeah but we have these sandwiches with cole slaw and french fries on them. and it rains every day. and there’s a lot of not so hot girls that apply make up with shotguns to their face. and this great baseball team that wins all the time! wouldn’t leave for anything. Pittsburgh > EVERYWHERE

NatGeo also listed Columbus, OH as a top place to visit in the fall. Being from Columbus, I can attest to the fact that it’s a fine place to live, but there is absolutely nothing there that can’t be found in plenty of other cities with a better climate.
