• The Angels’ playoff run remains interesting enough to render the Mariners watchable.
• In case you missed it, Mike Trout did disgusting things to the baseball last night.
He also hit two home runs.
• (Wocka. Wocka.)
• Starters: Dan Haren (194.2 IP, 20.4% K, 3.5% BB, 43.1% GB, 81 xFIP-) at Felix Hernandez (200.1 IP, 23.7% K, 7.5% BB, 48.0% GB, 79 xFIP-).

MLB.TV Audio Feed: Mariners Radio, I guess. (Anyone have thoughts on Angels Radio? I’m not familiar with it.)

Man, what happened to The Morning After?
I was really excited to see Brian Tallet’s WPA of -0.799.

What was even more scary than those 2 HR’s (both on low breaking balls which means most of power came from his bat speed and arm strength) was the bases loaded, full count walk he produced. Most rookies, and veterans, would have been trying to do to much there and Trout was as cool as a cucumber!

He is, and will be, a truly sick player.

Angels Radio: Terry Smith and Jose Mota. Mota sucks, I enjoy Smith. He doesn’t scream 3 RUN JIMMY JACK GONE BABY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And I enjoy his little catchphrases like: light that halo up. Mota is Monotone and boring.

Hey, Dontrelle Willis is playing major league baseball again? How’d I miss this news?

Still think Collmenter deserves an arbitrary NERD bonus for the arm angle. And/or because his relative success doesn’t make sense.
