Profile: In December, Phillies GM Matt Klentak indicated that the team would open 2017 with Andrew Knapp backing up Cameron Rupp. The next week, the Phillies signed Bryan Holaday. Although he's only on a minor league deal, it wouldn't be surprising to see Holaday land the backup catcher job on the main roster. It's probably better to get Knapp some more seasoning in Triple-A instead of playing every fifth day or so in the majors. Holaday is a career .245 hitter without much power, so even if he was forced into significant playing time, he is highly unlikely to be a fantasy asset. (Scott Strandberg)

The Quick Opinion: Holaday might work his way onto the Phillies' opening day roster, but that doesn't mean he should be anywhere near your fantasy roster.
