RotoWire News: Drew says the vertigo-like symptoms he dealt with last year fully ceased in the offseason, The Washington Post reports. "It took a while to come over that," Drew said. "It was hard to describe. When I got that sick, it's just kind of a freak thing, I don't really know. There's nothing to say like 'Oh, it's this, this, this.' I had no idea. So it's passed and hopefully it won't come back on me." (2/23/2017)

Profile: While he played less in 2016 than any previous season (only 165 plate appearances), it was Drew's best year on a rate basis. That was probably due to his usage. His .259 isolated power and 41.4% hard-hit rate were both career highs. Despite the added power, his plate discipline was relatively constant. While his infrequent usage made him unusable outside of DFS, Drew still slugged eight homers. Back with the Nationals after re-signing in the offseason, Drew will have a similar role in 2017. As a bench piece, however, he will not be fantasy relevant. He can be ignored in all formats.

The Quick Opinion: Drew performed when used in the right spot, but his limited role means he can be left on the waiver wire in fantasy.
