Profile: Niese struggled mightily in 2016 in just about every conceivable way. He posted the highest walk rate of his career (3.50 per nine), the highest home run rate of his career (22.1% of opponents' fly balls left the park), a career-worst earned run average (5.50 ERA) and fielding independent pitching (5.62 FIP), etc. He's fighting for a spot in the Yankee bullpen this spring. Even if he ends up playing major league ball, he's going to have to prove that last year was a serious fluke before I give him any consideration in fantasy. (Scott Strandberg)

The Quick Opinion: If he ends up in a starting rotation in a pitchers' park with a great defense behind him, then sure, maybe. It's a stretch. He's trying to catch on as a reliever with the Yankees, so...
