Profile: If your first thought when visiting this page is, "Wow, Juan Uribe is only 37 years old," you are both a) forgiven and b) visiting before Opening Day; Uribe turns 38 in March. Uribe, despite the age, remained productive through 2015, though he carried more value with his glove than his bat. But 2016 may well have been the end of the line for Uribe. His defense at third base was as solid as ever, and he provided a classic quote on the size of his...ummm...manhood after getting hit by a shot off the bat of Mike Trout, but he produced a .206/.259/.332 line before being designated for assignment on August 1. Uribe seems like the kind of guy who will get a camp invite and potentially make a roster, and if you are looking for signs of hope, he posted a career low .227 batting average on balls in play despite Hard%, Soft%, and LD% that were right in line with his career numbers. A bounce back, if paired with a full-time job, could come with around 15 home runs and a .250/.310/.400 type line. Good enough to provide an MLB team value, particularly paired with his leather. But not that useful for fantasy. (Chad Young)

The Quick Opinion: Juan Uribe was more coach than player for the 2016 Indians, as his bat absolutely cratered. A hard-to-explain drop in BABIP may be the culprit, but he's unlikely to be fantasy relevant.
