Beckett had better do SOMETHING the rest of this year. I’ve been holding onto that bum all season and its been costing me wins!

Could you (or anybody who wants to comment) rank these soon-to-be or just-came-off the DL SP’s for the rest of the season: Beckett, Buchholz, Anderson, Gallardo, Latos, Volquez

I’d say Gallardo is the best bet to keep dominating… but Beckett has been clutch most his career until injuries in the postseason. I wouldn’t count him out, but his fastball is 95 mph without any movement over the past part of last season and this year. Volquez is going to get shelled. Buchholz will have an absurd WHIP of about 1.35, but still get wins since the Sox get him runs, and he’s learning how to get out of trouble after walking guys. He also doesn’t give up homeruns like he did in the past.
Gallardo(no pressure and pitches for the Brewers in the National League)
Volquez(coming off a horrible injury, and looked like crap the other night.)
Beckett’s an ace, but hasn’t been right for a while. The dude has a nasty curve that he hasn’t been throwing, and just throws fastballs down the middle to guys who have sick bat speed. I still think his stuff is as good as anyones’ when he’s healthy.
