I guess Ceda perhaps deserves a mention but he’s still a guy who has yet to throw one IP in the majors. I don’t think clubs are going to fall backwards over giving the closer’s job to a guy who hasn’t retired a single MLB hitter.

So the fact that his K rate was down (only 17.5%) and his BB rate was up (10.6%) in 2008 doesn’t scare you?

No, it doesn’t.
Lindstrom is going to walk guys – there’s no two ways around that. And I think the strikeout rate will rebound, if not return entirely.
