  5. “Once he made an adjustment and started getting more loft on the ball…”

Do we have any evidence that he made a conscious adjustment to his swing and/or approach at the plate to get more loft?

  6. He did. He said that he was swinging straight on ball in early season, when to hit a ball right, he started performing better. He mentioned it in an interview, though I don’t remember exactly when.

  8. I watched about 120 games of him last year, he definitely adjusted his approach in the second half.

  9. He’s put on 15lbs and he’s no longer bothered by scar tissue he had on his thumb. I expect .300/.360/.465

  10. Beckham hit .186 batting in the 2nd slot and .286 batting 9th. The article referred to his jump after May 22nd. The Pale Hose dropped him from 2nd in the order on May 19th. Even in 2009, he only hit .248 in the 2 hole, while hitting .338 in the bottom 3rd of the order. Wonder where he should bat? And if he bats 9th like he should, projections will need to be tempered. His ability to hit an inside fastball – which is bad – will not improve until he changes where he holds his hands in his stance.
