Is .260 with 25 HR something we should really be happy with? That should probably be the expectation by now, yeah? I’d imagine .280 with 35 HR would be a welcome surprise, but .260 with 25 HR is kinda… meh. That was Hunter Pence in his second season, subtract the steals and add a few walks.

You would be wise to remember: Churchill was crazy.

doesn’t really take away from the fact that the dude had an awesome amount of quotes.

Seems like I read this same article every year about Bruce. At some point…

Considering he hit .281/25/70 last year, I can’t imagine that anyone who drafted him thinking he was a huge sleeper would be moderately pleased with .260/25/75.

Ain’t nothin wrong with .260/25/75 – for a waiver wire pickup.

Ha, and on queue Bruce goes 4 for 5 with a homer.

Can you now write an article about Carlos Santana as he’s killing my fantasy team as well!!

Still has worst line drive rate in the entire majors. He’ll be lucky to hit .260. He’s probably more of a .240 hitter. A slightly older Travis Snider is what is his. Most overrated player in the majors.

With around 100 ABs under his belt, he’s on target to have about 180 strikouts with a .231 average.
