  1. his power could have been sapped by the the hamate injury in spring training? i’ll be happy to draft brown low next year while he’s undervalued to go for the upside 20 15 season

  2. i also find it noteworthy that after being sent back down again in late July, he racked up 12 steals(2 CS) in 35 games.
Also, not sure the reason why, but his season stats at AAA on his season stats section are off a bit from his AAA game log. missing about 5 games on the season stats tally.

  3. any chance one of those guys plays first next year? with howard out, seems like a crowded outfield is an ok problem to have.

  4. Well, if any of those guys would cover 1B it would be Mayberry I think. He’s got 1B experience and has been used as a backup 1B this year even. Seems like a logical stopgap unless the Phillies want to pay for FA to cover the position for a few months (which wouldn’t be a bad thing to do, I think- but we’ll see).

  5. “He stole 15 across three levels last year. It looks like he’s more of a guy with decent speed that will steal some bases, but he may not be a 30/30 guy ever.”

That’s funny, just because I remember almost the exact same thing being said about Carlos Gonzalez’s upside before he finally broke out.

  6. Sounds like I’ll be keeping him another year as he’s shown improvement in his BB rate, his BABIP was low and an injured wrist. My biggest concern, other than being on the Philies (who seem to hate young hitters) was he really fell in Keith Law’s rankings.
