  1. There is definitely some risk with betting on someone who has been awful for two years straight, but that’s a risk I am willing to take personally. Great piece, sums it up pretty well. Here’s a link to my take on Hill in 2012.

  2. The word you are looking for is “wary”. Also, you do not make plurals, like “pitchers”, by adding “‘s”.

    Not to be a grammar policeman, but if you’re going to write “professional” articles, please make them professional.

    Also, can we have less articles that say “player was bad, then good, then bad, and this year, might be either.”

    Totally unhelpful for people looking for solid advice on how to interpret what happened to him the last two years.

  3. …”weather or not” vs. “whether or not”. Oh well, you don’t need a degree in modern lit to read heat maps or plate discipline.
