  1. Don’t count on Doumit getting significant time in the outfield. Gardy won’t have to see him very many times before deciding that’s a bad idea. I still expect the Twins to sign another outfielder.

  2. He has sure seen Kubel and Cuddyer a lot in the outfield in the last few years. Doumit can’t be much worse. Hell he is probably better

  3. “They also have no intention of ditching Drew Butera whose offensive skills may be lacking, but defensively, he’s a pretty solid option.”

I REALLY hope you’re wrong there. I don’t care if he can hit a dinner plate at 100 MPH from 150 feet with a baseball and has a vacuum cleaner for a glove. He’s not a professional calibur player. I have a feeling you’re right, though.

  4. Not to mention Delmon Young.

  5. Cuddyer is very good in right field. He has one of the best arms in the game. He’s not very quick, but he’s a good ball player and does everything else well out there.

  6. Yes, but Doumit is new.

(I know it doesn’t make sense. It’s Gardenhire Logic.)
