  1. Will Viciedo have 3B eligibility in standard leagues next season?

  2. Doesn’t look like it. He didn’t play any games at 3B in the majors in 2011 so he’ll probably be OF-only. That’s how MDC has him too.

  3. It’s a shame about that. Would have made him much more valuable.

  4. Why is that “a shame”?? The guy didn’t play 3b last year! Is it also “a shame” that he doesn’t also have C and SS eligibility?

  5. Steve, did you just invent “iCommunicateFromTheDead”?

  6. He’s a fun guy to watch hit. Crazy fast bat, vicious swing, makes a lot of contact, etc. it should also be noted that he isn’t strictly a pull hitter. He hits to all fields, and the ball jumps off his bat. He’s been young at every level he’s been at, and shown significant progress tightening up the holes in his game. I’m grabbing him as a late round flier in all my leagues if I can.

  7. I am encouraged by the increased walk rate going from 3.0% to 8.9% in Charlotte this year. His K % went from 21.5% to 16.4% too. I just dont know how much of the power will translate, even in the Cell. Charlotte is such a hitters park.

  8. He never played C or SS Steve. The point was he did play and qualify for 3rd prior to last season. Get a clue.

  10. I always envisioned him to have more power than he has shown thus far. The good news is his contact ability is better than I expected so he should succeed, I just wonder if there’s still more power potential to tap into.

  11. Some big upside but beware his splits. Pounded lefties. Did nothing against righties. Could wind up a platoon guy, or if left in against righties could drive his numbers way down.
