  1. And Morrow is over-owned, at that.

  2. Ben, how would you rank the following starters? This is my NL-only staff (incl. Minor) in a 10 team league standard roto league. Curious where Minor would stand.

    Brandon Beachy
    Erik Bedard
    Ross Detwiler
    Matt Garza
    Ian Kennedy
    Mat Latos
    Mike Minor
    Juan Nicasio
Tim Hudson (coming back from DL)

  3. By the way, I’m getting a little concerned about Kennedy. He’s allowing a lot of baserunners.

  4. Love Minor this year. He’s definitely starting to put it all together very consistently.

  5. 2011 Ian Kennedy = 2010 Ubaldo Jimenez.

They’re both good pitchers but those will undoubtedly be their career years…

  6. I’m not Ben Duronio, but I’ll take a shot at ranking your pitchers

Minor (he and Latos are close, like Minor’s K/9, but for now the nod goes to Latos)
Hudson (hard to know what he is now)

So minor is your 3 or 4 I think, although I may get a lot of crap for putting Kennedy 5th in that group

  7. Thanks. The only thing with Garza is he pitches a gem and the Cubs have a way of not getting him the W. In this respect I value Beachy and Latos more. Their teams should at least get them some wins. I’m kinda hoping that Hudson produces enough value to be higher on this list. Detwiler right now is the real wild card. Hope he keeps it up.

  8. I’m doing my part to increase those ownership levels. Drafted him on all 4 of my Yahoo! teams.

  9. I too drafted him in all 3 of my leagues. Sale, Cozart, and Minor were pretty much my last three picks in each draft, not necessarily in that order.
