Should Yuni come back, I see the platoon continuing, Getz being much the better defender, hitting righties well, and having issues with lefties with his new stqance. Gio could force playing time if he shows any improvement on defense and gets hot with the bat. GMDM has shown a comfort level with using DL as a taxi-squad, so if the current platoon works well, Yuni will get extended on the DL, then a long rehab assignment. I think most Royals’ fans can live with that.
