  1. i dont see any changes from bell. watched outing; lots of pitches up and down the middle. velocity’s at 95, but tulo’s DP was a pitch he hammers when he’s going good, and the other out was a line shot.

  2. Bell is never going to be dominant, but at lease he is now throwing strikes (where before he struggled to get anything over).

    Aceves, on the other hand, really seems to be overpowering folks in the late innings with his arsenal of pitches.

    I lost patience with Bell in my home league (got Cuddy in a 1:1 trade before Bell’s 3rd BSV), but I am glad I stuck it out with Aceves … even if Valentine hands reigns to Bailey on his return.

  3. I agree that Bell’s days a dominant closer are gone, but considering how bad he was performing before – his last few outings should give him a long leash on the role. But, if you suspect from watching that he’s tip toeing on another collapse, that’s certainly something to consider.
