  1. Don’t forget about the prospect of Brett Jackson getting called up to the bigs around the all star game. From my vantage point, that’s when Campana’s bell will stop ringing.

  4. Right now it looks like the Cubs are sitting him vs lefties on a pretty strict basis (2 games in a row now). This makes him a tougher pick up in weekly leagues but if its daily Campana is a really nice piece.

  6. It is good to recall with Rizzo that they intend to call him up when they go visiting AL teams with the DH. Nobody will lose a spot during that time, and we’ll get a chance to watch the situation evolve. If Rizzo doesn’t hit again, or someone else goes soft, then Campana would still be OK.

    Since Epstein should be aware of how sitting a player depreciates his value, I don’t see anyone ‘getting sat’ for too long.
