  1. Do you think Barney has more/equal/less value in a league that doesn’t count average but does count OBP and SLG?

  2. Yeah, I do. He’s not going to be a great add for his slugging, but he’s still above league average in both OBP and slugging percentage right now, so the value is still there.

  4. I feared the day would come in 2012 when Colby Rasmus would once again be relevant, and that’s not to mention his teammate Rajai Davis. We could all do a lot worse.

  5. I have both Beckham and Barney available to pick up. Currently starting Elliot Johnson in MI until Bonifacio returns. Are either preferable to EJ?

  6. I’ll believe in Rasmus when he hits .270 with 20+ homers over a full year. He’s had too many 2-3 game monster stretches then 3 week long slumps for me to believe yet. He may be hitting that good over the last 15 days but you have to factor in the 11 day slump in the middle and the slump that will probably start now and last for who knows how long.

  7. Rasmus really has been swinging it well all year. He had wicked bad BABIP luck in April. He was stinging balls all over the park but they just weren’t falling in.

  8. Rasmus just started batting 2nd this series so that should help his value also.

  9. you must not play in leagues that penalize strikeouts.

  10. So you’ve believed since 2010 then?
