  3. Miley was just dealt for Dee Gordon in my Dynasty League… Sell High Indeed.

  4. Depends a little on your situation, but in a vacuum, I would not. I just don’t see the upside and the chance for a murderously bad start is relatively high.

  5. Miley’s been the better of the two overall, and Cahill’s extra strikeout per nine doesn’t really make up for a higher ERA and WHIP, but his last few starts have been really compelling. I might lean towards Cahill, but neither really lights my fire.

  6. Apparently some people still seem to think Dee Gordon is actually a good player. He is useful for steals…and that’s about it.

  7. I just traded Miley for Heath Bell in an NL-Only dynasty.

  8. Yet another pitcher that can be foisted off on unsuspecting owners who don’t get that K is also a rate stat in innings-capped leagues.

  9. First, thanks for all the good articles this season, Dan.

ROS who do you like: Miley or A.J. Burnett or Detwiler?

  10. who saw Miley’s game vs Texas tonight? Dan, care to reexamine your outlook?

  11. Thanks for reading! Definitely A.J. Burnett, I’m a believer!

  12. I’m impressed with his outing for sure, but I’m not going to let one start change my opinion. Philip Humber threw a perfect game, but that doesn’t mean he’s a great fantasy option either.

  13. Whoops. Missed that one.
