  1. How are the Marlins not in red if their manager said he’s doing a committe? Isn’t that a confirmation of high-volatility?

  2. You like Brandon Lyon over Lopez?

  3. You always have to focus on the guy that the manager likes, not the guy with the best ability. Plus Lopez hasn’t pitched in a month, so he’d have to prove he can get some outs before they name him the closer. Lyon sucks but he’s the smart bet if Myers is traded in the next couple days. If he’s not traded till 7/31? Then it could be Lopez, if he’s pitching lights out.

  4. Sorry, our color coordinator is on break as well. Will be discussed with the team..

  5. They both have the “stuff” take over the role, but I think Lyon’s experience gives him the edge…

With that said, don’t rule out teams looking into acquiring Lyon as well, as Ben discussed yesterday.

  6. Addison Reed not in the green? Are Thornton and/or Santiago remotely close to taking the job?

  7. Will Storen get the closer job back once he’s activated, or will Clippard keep it?

  8. Astros officially shopping Lyon – probably not going to be the closer.

  9. Another thing to remember is that Lyon could also be traded

  10. Clippard is keeping it
