As a Braves fan, if we were going into a playoff series today, I think I would be most confidant with Medlen starting game 1.

    Confidant, but are you confident?

Yes, lets point out people’s grammatical and spelling errors so we can appear smart!

Medlen looks like the real deal as a starter, but the problem whose place he will take if he enters the rotation. It just doesn’t seem likely that the Braves would move either Hanson or Minor to the bullpen.

The Braves could shop Hanson around… it’s not necessarily the best time to do it and I doubt they’d sell low on him, but if an actual decent value is offered I bet they’d bite.

The view on Medlen among Braves fans is that he’s a guy who gets the job done. It’s also that he gets jacked around since they won’t ever commit to him as a starter. If Medlen is anything less than the ace of the staff for the rest of 2012, I give it a 50/50 chance he’s back in the ‘pen to start next season.
