  1. Headley was a huge reason I won my fantasy season (Ottoneu) this year. Looks very much like a “career” year, but he’s a solid all around player that really brought a lot of value considering his price and draft position in 2012.

  3. were pitchers not considered for MVP? because headley was drafted in 70% of yahoo league whereas dickey was 22% and dickey ended up #5 in yahoo’s ranks.

  5. Quick Headley story, my points league went down to the wire, and I was down 0.5 points on the final day with only Headley left on my squad. His RBI triple would be the difference between a championship for me and crushing defeat.

    He actually nearly won the league for me earlier in the day, but instant replay stole a HR for him (which occurred simultaneous to my opponent’s second Curtis Granderson HR of the day). It was quite a moment of jubilation turned disappointment. But the next AB triple changed all of that just minutes later. It was champagne for this fantasy owner.
