Gardenhire says that save opportunities will go to Perkins and Burton while Capps is unavailable.

Burnett was brought in last night to pitch the 6th inning with the Twins behind by three runs.

I think Burton is clearly ahead of Burnett in the bullpen pecking order.

I don’t necessarily disagree with you here. Padilla does have a save this season in two opportunities.

That bullpen will get shaken up soon with Bailey on the mend.

We do our best to update this chart daily. As you know, there have been a ton of injuries this year, so keeping up with this has been quite laborious for the team.

Considering how reliable Joe Nathan has been this season, I’m not sure either of those other names are relevant at this time anyway.

Like noted in previous editions of the Bullpen Report, it’s very challenging to get in the skipper’s heads, so we just speculate as best as we can with the information we have.

With that said, if Myers were to be dealt, I think Lyon could be an option to close out games for the Astros if he pitches the way he did in May. Check out his splits, he’s been a bit inconsistent from month-to-month. You can’t argue the experience though, as he does have close to 80 career saves.

No question Brothers has the strikeout ability in Colorado, but how walks are a major concern. At this time we believe Matt Belisle would be the guy for the ninth should something happen to Betancourt.

I wish the close chart would be more updated and/or correct. Uehara is hurt, and Ogando would be in line in front of him anyway.

I do not think A.Miller is next in line for Boston, V.Padilla would seem more likely.

What are your thoughts on Brandon Lyon’s chances of getting the job back if Myers is dealt? His #s look really good this year… Also Rex Brothers in Colorado??
