		<description>Great article, it&#039;s amazing how the shortstop position has evolved over the past 20-30 years. It was hard to imaging much offensive production from a shortstop 30 years ago. It&#039;s great for the game. Old timers use to say that shortstops would never be productive hitters as long as wood baseball bats were used in the MLB. Guess they were wrong! Awesome piece of reading.</description>

		<description>One thing to note about Aviles, too, is that he was never healthy this year, even when he was playing, since he finally admitted that his elbow and forearm had been bothering him since spring training.  Some of this year&#039;s numbers are attibutable to that.</description>
