Loretta was brought in as the utility infielder, and might spell the lefty DeWitt against LHP, but I don't think that's necessarily a bad thing. DeJesus isn't ready yet, but assuming he is ready by 2010 it isn't the worst problem to have. Blake's contract (3/$17.5m) isn't so bad that he's untradeable or unmovable, so if DeWitt and DeJesus can prove they have DeGoods they will get plenty of playing time. I like Tony Abreu as much as anyone, but he needs to be healthy before any discussion of his contributions can be had.
