cavegravedave,

Thanks! The team UZR/150 can be found by:

- going to "Teams" on the bar at the top of the site (directly under the FanGraphs logo)
-clicking on "Fielders"

That will display each team's total UZR/150. If you'd like to see individual players' numbers on that team, just click "Individual Teams" and scroll to the desired club.

Hey David, great read.

Where did you find team UZR/150 (sortable), and how many years back is this data available?

Thanks. interesting stuff.

Jeff,

I think it makes sense to adjust for the quality of the opposing offenses, at least to some degree. The overall NL batting line was .260/.331/.413 in 2008, compared to .267/.335/.420 in the AL.

Sure, an NL closer isn't exactly going to face a pitcher, but the quality of AL lineups tends be higher overall, and the bottom of NL and AL lineups can vary somewhat. For instance, #8 batters hit .241/.317/.348 in the NL, compared to .254/.319/.394 in the AL. That might not be mind-bending, but it makes some difference.

Do we really need to adjust a reliever's stats for switching leagues? Its not like they face the pitcher every 9th PA when in NL. Also, the quality of opposition of a reliever is far more dependent on how he is used and luck.
