I don't know off hand, but given the consistency of his numbers, I would *assume* that the scouting reports got out about him given his eight-year MiLB career and pitchers have tried different things against him. I recognize the different between minor league breaking balls and major league breaking balls, but am mostly interested in seeing if he just stroked fastball after fastball. I'd expect his ML diet to resemble that of Alexei Ramirez's, given the translation of his free swinging, high contact approach to the majors. Got a kick out of the title of the post.
