No forty home run hitter has ever had fewer than ninety runs batted in so no, that's not conceivable. At all.

Dunn's numbers are easy to predict, but 2 of the 5 realistically have more to do with others than with Dunn.

Some people think that Christian Guzman can continue getting on base at a ridiculous clip. Some people don't.

Some people think Lastings Milledge is the product of the New York Mets hype machine.

Some people think Elijah Dukes is bound to fail.

Some people think Ryan Zimmerman will never become the hitter we all thought he could.

Everyone thinks Nick Johnson is going to get hurt.

The difference between 40HR/80RBI/80R and 40HR/110RBI/90R is pretty large and both are conceivable outcomes.

Dunn's OBP was .386 the past two years, but his average was .236 and .264.

Realistically, the variance has very little to do with Dunn.

Can someone please help me value Adam Dunn? His 2009 should resemble his 2008, with a little higher AVG and steals (reverting to his career averages): .240/40/100 RBI/80 runs/5 steals. His 2008 RotoTimes value was $12.43, but I bumped his AVG and steals a little so maybe he is a $13 or $14 player, which is about the #60 hitter overall. Yahoo! ADP ranks Dunn #72 overall (end of round 6), ESPN ADP has him at #96 overall (end of round 8, beginning of round 9), "expert mock drafters" take him around round 5.

I understand differences in opinion on guys like Davis, Votto, BJ Upton, etc., but Dunn's numbers are easy to predict and yet he goes anywhere from round 5 to round 9.

Thank you!

This is the first article I've found that mentions Johnson as a good match for the Giants and I wholeheartedly agree.

I read that Dunn will be the LF, not 1b, which will presumably belong to johnson.

I just wrote an article on Carlos Gonzalez and was trying to figure out what his "basement" was. I racked my brain for a bit and came to the conclusion that it was indeed Wily Mo which made me cry.

I still cannot believe the Nat's are going to sit a healthy Nick Johnson. It's actually mind boggling to me. Nick's already proven that it's not the number of games that results in injury; It's instead the time of day, the month of the year, the colour of the sky, or whether or not your local ground-hog sees his shadow.

Alas, if you can trade one bedroom for six washrooms and a roof -- you've done well. Until the season starts, I cant blame a GM for acquiring talent.
