Alonso doesn’t really deserve that much of a mention. At least not for the Reds outfield options in 2010. Even when he’s ready to move up a more likely expectation is that Votto will be moved to left. Since he’s more athletic he wouldn’t hurt the Reds as much defensively. Although an eventual trade of one of them is also a possibility.
