As a Yankee fan, I'm praying the Yankees don't trade Swisher. If they believe in Gardner's bat, which it seems as though they do since they're considering a Swisher trade (meaning Damon in LF and Nady in RF), then they should simply trade either Nady or Damon. Damon as a corner OF is nice defensively, but offensively, Swisher will be much better and his defense should be passable (I'm not sure about that point, though). Also, why deal Swisher when you only have Nady for one-year? Ridiculous. Another great article, Peter.

As a Yankee fan, I’m praying the Yankees don’t trade Swisher.
