Whoa, Happ’s FIP now sits at 4, HR/9 under 1 and BB/9 under 3, suggesting that he is really settling into the starter’s role. Ironically, for his improvement he earns a 1-2 record. I am not saying that Happ is a star, but rather than a bullpen destiny, is he becoming Philly’s “the horse we rode in on” for the post season rotation?

i wouldn’t care too much if just happ went but not him and drabek and brown is great too. no. i think that if we can get cliff lee for carrasco jason donald and micheal taylor (The Inquirer said this could work) I’d do it in a heartbeat, lee has been much better than his record suggests and if we could have a rotation with lee hamels happ and the way blanton has been pitching we’re in great shape.

This is the guy that could hold up a trade? What a scrub. He is a fill in for any rotation. I know the Jays really like Drebek and Brown, but why do they insist on this guy’s inclusion? I like the Jays young lefties better plus they are younger. If the Phils are really blinking on Happ+Drebek+Brown they are nuts.

My fellow Phils fans are so ridiculously enamored with Happ, it’s sickening. I keep telling everyone he’s doing it with smoke and mirrors, they keep calling him a “potential future ace”.

Like the guy above me says, ship him to Toronto now! Happ + Dominic Brown + Jason Donald get it done? Ahhh I wish.

Exactly why I say if the Jays want him in a package for Halladay, I will gladly pack his bags.
