I think there was either a 30-for-30 or something of similar ilk that dispelled the notion that O’Malley was the real bad guy.

It was a really good documentary, I’ll have to look for it.

But the Giants got replaced by the Mets. To this day, my grandmother — now 89 years old — gets weepy talking about O’Malley ripping her heart out, and it still gets me angry just thinking about the existence of the Los Angeles Dodgers.

California. Bunch of carpetbaggers. Not good enough you stole the Dodgers; had to to steal the A’s from Philly, too? You couldn’t just be happy with the PCL? Sorry; I will never accept baseball west of St. Louis as legitimate Major League baseball.
