Episode 146

The latest episode of “The Sleeper and the Bust” is now live! Eno Sarris and Nicholas Minnix discuss the Joakim Soria and Kendrys Morales trades; trade rumors (and the fantasy implications of them) involving Cliff Lee, Ian Kennedy, Casey McGehee, and a few others; the call-up of Chris Taylor; Darin Ruf versus Ryan Howard; C.J. Cron’s and Wilmer Flores’ returns to the bigs; Shelby Miller versus Carlos Martinez; Dan Haren; and some requested players, comprised of Jacob deGrom, Kyle Hendricks, Gregory Polanco, and James Paxton.

As usual, don’t hesitate to tweet us or comment with fantasy questions so that we may answer them on our next episode.

Thanks to Ian Miller, aka Teen Archer, for the intro/outro music. Approximately 79 minutes of joyous analysis.

I’m 2 for 2 now getting my questions answered on the podcast (Long question about guys like Estrada, McCarthy, Salazar whose peripherals don’t match results a few weeks ago and the Kyle Hendricks question today). I really appreciate your responsiveness and the podcast is only getting better and better. Keep up the far-above-replacement-level work guys!

Another great show! I’d love to hear you talk about Stroman and Minor. Two pitchers going in opposite directions? Will Stroman’s innings keep him from being there for my playoffs (they go through 9/21)?

Great commentary. My only critque is that you only say a guy’s name once, maybe twice over a 4-5 minute segment. It would definitely be helpful to say the names more.
