Just wanna ask a real quick question, I’m in major trade mode at the moment in my league. Do you think Liriano is pitching over his head right now? If I were to package him and Granderson do you think I could get someone like a Cliff Lee/Gio Gonzalez kinda guy. I’m in the lead in K’s but I could use a boost in just about every other pitching category. And as far as offense goes, I only need real help in runs and avg, and I don’t think Curtis will be too helpful in runs, definitely not avg. Anyway, try to sell Liriano now or see if he can keep it up the rest of the way?

Good point, I’ll keep that in mind, but I believe it was confirmed that although Gio was on the list, he didn’t receive any banned substances. But you are right I’ll have to be careful with that, who knows how true it is

      • Well surely Liriano won’t finish with a sub-2.50 ERA. But I don’t see Gio being a guaranteed upgrade (ignoring the Biogenesis risk) and I think Lee is significantly better than Gio. I had Lee worth basically double Gio in the preseason. I cannot possibly predict what another owner will do, but offering the pair for Lee seems good to me.
