Profile: At least he's consistent: Romine hit exactly 29% worse than league-average in three of four seasons since 2012. (He hit a miserable 43% worse in the fourth.) Valued for his glove — he played every position except catcher last year! — rather than his bat, he has recorded a mere 844 plate appearances since 2010. You would be hard-pressed to find a more inept bat. If you consider yourself especially skilled at streaming stolen bases, you might look toward Romine, who has averaged 10 steals over the last three seasons, in a moment of desperation. Otherwise, you won't think twice, or even once, about him unless you live in Detroit. (Alex Chamberlain)

The Quick Opinion: Honestly, if he somehow saw the mound again, Romine might generate more fantasy value as a pitcher than a hitter. He'll threaten to steal a dozen bases, but that's about all on which he can hang his hat.
