Profile: Rajai Davis is fast. And he is good at stealing bases. 2016 was his fifth year out of the past eight with 40 steals, and he stole 30+ in two of the other three. Davis is not all that good at anything else. His power has emerged late in his career, but he still has only 28 home runs over the last three seasons (though Aroldis Chapman will tell you, Rajai can hit a mistake). None of his rates are special. He isn't a great fielder. He does hit lefties pretty well (Chapman learned that, too), but not so well that he is worth rostering as a platoon bat. But if he plays, he a) won't kill any of your stats, and b) will steal all the bases there are to be stolen. If he ends up with a regular job and you are playing 5x5, he is a great fantasy asset. If he doesn't and/or you are not, he is not.(Chad Young)

The Quick Opinion: Are you playing 5x5 (or another format that highly values SB)? If so, keep an eye on where Davis signs and what his role will be. He doesn't do much else, but he is a lock for 40 steals if he has a job.
