Profile: Who says fantasy production declines with age?! Brandon Phillips laughs at that notion. Although he has become more allergic to the walk as the years pass by, amazingly he has posted the best strikeout rates of his career over the past two seasons. His batted-ball profile remains stable, he's not swinging and missing more often, and he continues to run like the days of yore. Nothing in his profile suggests imminent collapse, but that doesn't mean we should just expect him to continue at this pace, immune to the effects of age. First to go may very well be those surprising steals, and without those steals, he essentially drops to a replacement-level option. Because everyone hates the aging veteran, he may be cheap enough to roster for one more year. But the risk of major decline keeps increasing, so you have to ask yourself - do you feel lucky?! (Mike Podhorzer)

The Quick Opinion: The effects of aging have yet to rear their ugly heads, but be warned, they are coming. First to leave Phillips' fantasy contributions may be his stolen bases, and without those, his value plummets. Don't forget to factor in that risk when draft day rolls around.
