Profile: In 2013, Kevin Siegrist was great. In 2014, Kevin Siegrist was bad. In 2015, Kevin Siegrist was great. In 2016, Kevin Siegrist was kind of great, but secretly bad. In 2017, we will play a guessing game. Last year, Kevin Siegrist sported a fairly shiny 2.77 ERA, but not all was right with Siegrist's game. His strikeouts went down more than one per nine innings from the previous year, but the real problem was the homers. He gave up 10 homers in 61.2 innings after giving up just four in 74.2 innings back in 2015. He's always given up a decent amount of walks, averaging around four per nine innings, so it is actually surprising the homers didn't hurt him more in ERA. Despite those 10 homers, Siegrist gave up just 19 earned runs. That takes a bit of luck. Siegrist also missed time with mono last season, though reports say he might have been just really bored. If Siegrist is healthy, he might be a decent strikeout guy who helps to set up for Seung Hwan Oh, but it isn't likely that he will be in line for a lot of save opportunities. (Craig Edwards)

The Quick Opinion: Kevin Siegrist has alternated good and bad years for the last four seasons and he is on a good cycle for 2017. If healthy, he will rack up Ks and holds, but don't expect saves.
