Profile: Entering last season, numbers suggested that Corbin was one of the best late round buys in standard formats. He came back from injury in 2015 and combined stellar command with solid strikeout numbers. For those that invested in him, he was certainly a let down. Fortunately he did not cost a ton, which will likely be the case this year as well. Corbin's numbers declined across the board last year and he eventually got moved to the bullpen and made 12 appearances as a reliever. He is slated to start the year in the Diamondbacks rotation and still possesses some late round upside, but he should be looked at more in NL only formats and not owned in standard leagues. If anything, monitor him throughout spring and early part of the season to potentially add him as a waiver claim. At just 27 and having had success in the past, it is certainly possible that Corbin rebounds and has the type of year that many expected him to have last year. It just is not worth paying for that hope, however.

The Quick Opinion: Corbin had an all around awful 2016 and the peripherals were not much better than the results. He should start the season in the rotation, though, and could be a rebound candidate that you can add on the waiver wire.
