  2. Dick Allen for the Hall of Fame, argument of the day:

For his career, Dick Allen had a better wRC+, more PA’s, and a better positional adjustment (spending half his career at 3B/OF) than Hank Greenberg.

  3. “The end of man is knowledge, but there is one thing he can’t know. He can’t know whether knowledge will save him or kill him. He will be killed, all right, but he can’t know whether he is killed because of the knowledge which he has got or because of the knowledge which he hasn’t got and which if he had it, Dick Allen would save him. ”

  4. And God said, Let us make Dick Allen in our image, after our likeness: and let him have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.

  5. Hank Greenberg spent age seasons 30 (partial), 31, 32, 33, and 34 (partial) in the war. The 2 bookend seasons, age 29 and 35, he led the league in HRs. He missed almost as much time as Ted Williams and I think its safe to assume his career slash line would look better with those prime seasons to go along with 500+ HRs easy.

Hank Greenberg is possibly the most underrated player of all time.

  7. Amazing blog! Do you have any hints for aspiring writers? I’m hoping to start my own site soon but I’m a little lost on everything. Would you recommend starting with a free platform like WordPress or go for a paid option? There are so many options out there that I’m completely overwhelmed .. Any ideas? Bless you!

  8. Most of the things you assert happens to be astonishingly precise and it makes me ponder the reason why I hadn’t looked at this with this light before. This particular piece truly did switch the light on for me as far as this particular issue goes. Nevertheless at this time there is actually 1 factor I am not too cozy with and whilst I attempt to reconcile that with the actual main idea of your position, let me observe just what the rest of your visitors have to say.Nicely done.

  9. Together with every thing which appears to be building throughout this specific subject matter, all your points of view are fairly refreshing. Nevertheless, I am sorry, but I do not give credence to your entire theory, all be it radical none the less. It looks to us that your commentary are generally not completely justified and in actuality you are generally yourself not completely certain of the argument. In any event I did take pleasure in reading it.

  10. Woah! I’m really enjoying the template/theme of this blog. It’s simple, yet effective. A lot of times it’s very hard to get that “perfect balance” between user friendliness and appearance. I must say you’ve done a superb job with this. In addition, the blog loads super fast for me on Firefox. Superb Blog!
