‘The Parable of The Goy’s Teeth’ was originally ‘The Parable of Roy’s Teeth’ — inspired by a prank played on Roy Smalley after a night of debauchery amongst Twins teammates in August of 1977.

I wish you had made room for “Fear Walks Albert Pujols”, which continues in pre-production morass. Tarantino vacillates about signing to play father to The Rock’s Albert.

Enjoyed the post! I believe there could be two possible additions to the “almost made it” baseball movie list:
1. George Clooney was once cast as Moe Berg to star in the film adaptation of “The Catcher Was a Spy.”
2. Bill Murray was planning a biopic of Bill Veeck in an adaptatioin of the book “Veeck As In Wreck.”
