  1. Yes, and as an equally avid reader of Woman’s Day I am quite certain that in her very next entry young Ms. SanSone used “action figures” as a euphemistic surrogate for a certain other variety of plastic toys that can “get funky pretty fast”.

  3. I tried it one time and used a plastic hat cage that promised to keep it’s shape in the dishwasher. It did not work.

  7. If you just want to clean an old hat, you can put your hat in with the normal cycle of dishes. I do it all the time. Just put a piece of tupperware or something else where your head would go to help keep the shape. Works great.
