  2. OK, if we’re doing nicknames, and “Sultan” counts, then I can’t see how you leave off Rogers “Rajah” Hornsby at 2B. Peak single-season WAR of 12.4 and in the HOF, thank you very much.

  12. These guys are welcome to put together an All-Time Nobility All-Star team (along with Rick ‘Red Baron’ Sutcliffe), but they’re not royalty. Duke counts because it can be a royal title. I think.
