  22. Fantastic Idea!

This would provide me with yet another platform to launch a major marketing campaign and to make scintillating changes to attract new viewers!

Additionally I, err excuse me the league, could institute a best-of-thirteen game AFL World Series so it HAS to go to seven games! Brilliant work Mr. Cistulli! Brilliant!

    Comment by reillocity — October 29, 2012 @ 6:52 pm

  38. As a substitute for baseball from Arizona in the fall, you can watch baseball from Australia in (our) summer
    http://www.theabl.com.au
Season starts this coming weekend. Catch ALL of the MiLB stars!

  40. Thank you, kind sir! This is most excellent and I shall become a fan of Australian baseball very shortly. One question: is there a way for non-Australians to watch these games, or hear them, or in some other way follow them live?

    Comment by Well-Beered Englishman — October 29, 2012 @ 11:21 pm

  41. When there is a game on, there is generally a stream for Sydney and / or Perth games on http://freezone.iinet.net.au/vod/sport/abl otherwise refer to the respective teams webpages and there is a link to streams under the ‘multimedia’ toolbar. Unfortunately the coverage, even here, is pretty terrible.

  44. Absolutely. The problem is, the douchehammers at MLB will find some stupid way of blacking out your team for your region. This is why MLB-TV is useless.

    Comment by Clown — October 30, 2012 @ 9:58 am

  45. Signed. And also I wouldn’t recommend getting too intimate with your knowledge of Chandler Parsons because, at least according to his player page on The Worldwide Leader, he’s only 14 years old:

    http://espn.go.com/nba/player/_/id/6466/chandler-parsons

Which makes his nearly 10ppg/5rpg in his rookie season pretty damn impressive.

    Comment by RPMcSweeney — October 30, 2012 @ 10:44 am

  46. Are you for hire? My father George Bluth Sr. is in a bit of a bind.

    Comment by Clown — October 30, 2012 @ 10:55 am

  47. He got in before the age requirement and was drafted out of first grade in ’05. People said the Rockets were crazy, but he played in overseas elementary school leagues and has finally developed into an NBA rotation guy.

(of course, ESPN has the proper age/year of birth on his page, now)

  51. I already miss baseball and wish I could go and watch it live. But I live 1800 miles away and even a re-broadcast, Mr Selig, would be nice. Not in the middle of the night, but when most of us are awake. Just saying…
