  1. A marvelous piece, although your segue into MALB analysis after the opening’s rich and descriptive travel writing ALMOST made me suspicious that you did not, in fact, post this from Malaysia, durian in hand.

Regardless, I am filled with wanderlust and thrilled at my newfound potential to be a professional baseball player for the Nazghuls. The line “Oh, I used to play professional baseball for the Nazghuls” would work on such a wide variety of female bar patrons, I incorrectly suspect.

  2. A Solihuddin Hormat jersey would make a fine addition to the Jeter gift basket.

  3. On the other hand, if you were a rare lady player to have appeared for the Nazghuls, think of the gentleman bar patrons you could stagger with such a revelation!

  4. Looks like there were two leagues… Mallb and the baseball federation of Malaysia.
The former postponed their 2011 tournament from June to Sept, and I don’t know if they ever played games inDec.

The latter Was formed in 1997 and played games as recently as 2011:

  5. Upon further review, I believe the BFM must have destroyed the MALB with the It’s evil powers. It is obvious the BFM dabbles with the dark side, as the first of its blog roll compatriots is a Sith Lord.
