It’s been difficult, yes. Please feel horrible for me.

Carson, these are the kind of articles that keep me in love with NotGraphs

That’s an especially nice thing of you to say, sir or madam. It’s supportive and interactive readers who make writing for NotGraphs itself pleasant.

Sitting in Chicago, cold, waiting for baseball.
I stared at your picture of the ocean
with my mouth literally open.
Bless you sir.

Your grandfather sounds like a great baseball fan. (While that sentence may appear sarcastic to those looking for it, I assure you, it isn’t. I bet he cheers hard as hell sometimes, if only rarely.)

More than anything, I love the style in which you write, Carson. The humor is just an awesome by product.

There is no one else right now whose writing makes me laugh out loud as consistently as Mr. Cistulli’s.
This part particularly had me crackin up:
“What My Grandfather Talked About, and Where
Before the Game, at His Condo
Citrus fruits, the virtues of.
En Route to the Game
This one drawbridge, its habits.”
