There is a Hyun-jin Ryu joke here, somewhere.

I love that Stewart prepares to throw the ball back, as is standard practice following a pitch that creates a 2-2 count, only to be frozen by Bucknor’s call.

No one is pumped about strike two. OK?

The person sitting right above the word “Rot” is certainly pumped about strike two.

Or maybe he just wanted Ryu to unleash a Shoryuken.

I can’t help but see that and think; typical, Yankee fan.

Does one really great call overcome all these “I really hate this game” calls? He did get that plate call for the As against the Spanks right Thurs.

I wish every umpire would do this for EVERY single strike. And I wish they would wag their fingers and shake their heads at pitchers when they throw those “non-strike” things.

This gif is great. Theres all kinds of great things going on.
The fan on the left jumping up like the Yankees won the world series, the guy on the right saying sit down, the catcher’s shock at the pitch being called a strike (either that or he thought to check to see if anyone was on base), the other lady right behind the plate clapping enthusiastically….

Obviously Bucknor really did punch that guy. No other explanation.
